What is Ekrano?
Ekrano is a player for the TV subscription you already have, on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. Add your playlist once and you get live TV with a program guide, films and series. Through iCloud, every screen knows your favorites and where you stopped.
Does Ekrano include channels?
No. Ekrano is a player. It does not provide, host or sell any channels, films or series. You connect a subscription you already have from a licensed provider.
What do I need?
A subscription from a TV provider you are allowed to use, with an Xtream Codes login or an M3U playlist address. Then an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac. The program guide needs an Xtream Codes login.
How does sync work?
Through your own iCloud. Playlists, favorites, watch progress and settings are kept in a private iCloud database that only your Apple Account can open. Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on each device, and they stay in step. Ekrano has no servers and no accounts.
How do I get my playlist onto Apple TV?
Add it on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, where you have a keyboard. iCloud brings it to Apple TV by itself. If you prefer, you can also type it in Settings on Apple TV.
Which devices does Ekrano run on?
iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. One subscription covers all of them. On Apple TV, open the App Store and search for Ekrano.
Can I record or download on Apple TV?
No. Recording, scheduled recordings and downloads are on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Apple TV plays live TV, films and series, and picks up where your other screens stopped.
What does it cost?
New subscribers get 7 days free. Then Ekrano costs $1.99 a month or $11.99 a year in the US, and the App Store shows the price for your country before you buy. One subscription covers iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, and you can share it with up to five family members.
How do I cancel?
Any time. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. On iPhone or iPad: Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. On Apple TV: Settings > Users and Accounts > your account > Subscriptions. On a Mac: open the App Store and go to your account.
Which languages does Ekrano speak?
English, Norwegian, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Croatian, Russian, Turkish and Arabic. Ekrano follows the language of your device.
Is it legal?
Ekrano is a media player, like the one on your computer. Whether what you watch is legal depends on your subscription, so use a provider that has the rights to its channels. If a service sells every channel in the world for a few dollars, it is not legal.
