Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026. APPIT ("we", "our", "us") operates the Ekrano apps for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. This policy explains how your information is handled.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • IPTV subscription credentials (server URL, username, password) — stored locally on your device and synced through your own private iCloud account.
  • Favourites and preferences — stored locally and synced through iCloud.

Information we do NOT collect:

  • We do not collect personal data on our servers.
  • We do not track your viewing habits.
  • We do not use analytics or tracking services.
  • We do not sell your data, and we use no advertising or behavioural trackers.

2. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you are signed in to iCloud, it is synced across your devices through Apple's CloudKit service, in your private iCloud container, which we cannot access.

3. IPTV Credentials

Your IPTV credentials are stored on your device and synced only through your own private iCloud account. We have no access to them and they are never transmitted to our servers. The App connects directly from your device to your IPTV provider.

4. Third-Party Services

The App connects to the IPTV servers you configure; we are not responsible for their privacy practices. To show artwork, ratings and descriptions, the App sends the title of the content you browse to The Movie Database (TMDB, themoviedb.org). No credentials, account information or personal identifiers are sent, and TMDB is not told who you are. Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) is used for synchronisation; Apple's privacy policy applies to it.

5. Downloads

Downloaded content is stored locally on your device (iPhone and iPad). Downloaded files are not uploaded to any server or shared with anyone.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The content available through an IPTV service is determined by that provider, not by us.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete everything at any time: remove individual subscriptions and favourites in the App, use "Delete all my data" in Settings, delete the App from your device, or remove app data from iCloud via Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.
